# Overview

## What is Tucana Finance?

Tucana is a crypto DeFi 3.0 passive income project that aims to provide a yield potential with a protocol that works. It efficiently aggregates return from protocol-owned liquidity with returns from DeFi protocols across many chains to allocate rewards to holders.

Tucana is the first passive protocol to allow node creators to buy/sell nodes after 10 days within the Tucana ecosystem. You will be able to purchase nodes, compound your nodes, and immediately start earning a passive income. The daily APY for owning a node ranges from 1.2% - 1.8% depending on the type of node you create. Rewards are paid out every 15 minutes and can be withdrawn to your wallet or compounded to create a new node. ## Why Tucana?

* The first node project where you can buy/sell nodes within its own marketplace, making sure there's no constant sell pressure on the chart.
* Passive protocol to reward holders holding the token with reflections even without owning a node.
* No maintenance fees since there is a buy/sell tax.
